Beginning Drafting Pics & Explanations

The first 9 weeks is spent on beginning drafting techniques.  It is importnt for students to be able to draw and read basic drawings.  We all know that when you buy that swing set or entertainment center from Lowes that there are a set of instructions and blueprints that comes with it showing you how to put it together.

Here is Whitney Summerhays showing off a perfect 40 out of 40.
It is not very often that a student gets a 40 out of 40 on a drawing in my class.

Here is Nolan Eich, Gabe Summerhays, and Josh Tolsdorf trying to create an Isomentric
on the white board.

In the front is Adam Adreon working on a tough isometric.  In the back is Mitchell Nida
helping Nick Wassenaar and Mason Hodges, Mark Beascochea, and Trevor Brown
helping Emily Bailey.

I really stress the students working together in figuring things out.  This allows them
to learn a deeper understanding when they help others.
